I believe that as a Catholic and a Registered Nurse, that not offering health care to those with Medicaid goes against the very basic teachings/beliefs that we as human beings were charged with as Christians. It's shameful for a physician whose patient of many years, loses their health care coverage (for whatever the reasons) and in the middle of a pregnancy, the patient is required to either cover the cost out of pocket or find a new physician. To borrow a phrase from a Southern Baptist, "What Would Jesus do?".
